Homeland Energy has invested in Innovation Fuels, a rapidly emerging renewable fuel company with a regional focus and a global reach. The company was formed to supply America’s most densely populated region, the Northeast, with the world’s fastest-growing renewable fuel – non-toxic, biodegradable biodiesel.

Homeland Energy provides consulting services to American Honda’s Alternative Fuel Vehicle Department. These services include dealer training, sales and marketing support, and public relations. American Honda is the manufacturer of the natural gas-powered Honda Civic GX, the “Cleanest Production Vehicle on Earth” that significantly reduces operating costs while lowering a customer's environmental impact. The Civic GX is available nationwide to fleets, and is retailed by select Honda dealerships in California and New York. Homeland’s Alternative Fuel Vehicle Program is managed by Barry Carr.

We continue to work with NYSERDA, American Honda, Plug Power, and Air Products on an innovative station that will create hydrogen from a natural gas reformation process. Homeland is currently managing a cold weather demonstration project with the State of New York which includes the use of a hydrogen-powered Honda FCX fuel cell vehicle.
